Transfers & refills

Switching pharmacies takes one phone call.

You don't have to call your old pharmacy, explain why you're leaving, or collect any paperwork. Give us your details and we'll contact them, request your prescriptions and let you know when everything is ready.

How a transfer works

  1. Tell us what to moveCall us at 215-244-4244, or use the callback request below and we'll ring you. We'll need the name of your current pharmacy and which prescriptions you'd like transferred.
  2. We contact your current pharmacyPharmacy to pharmacy, directly. You don't need to call them, and you don't owe anyone an explanation for switching.
  3. We check your insuranceWe run your plan before filling anything, so you know what you're paying up front rather than at the register.
  4. We fill it — and deliver it if you'd likeWe'll call when it's ready for pickup, or bring it to your door at no charge through our free delivery service.

A note on controlled substances. Some medications can't be transferred between pharmacies under federal and state rules and need a fresh prescription from your prescriber. If any of yours fall into that category we'll tell you straight away and can contact your doctor's office on your behalf.

Requesting refills

Once you're set up with us, refills are a phone call. Call during pharmacy hours and tell us what you need — mention delivery when you call and we'll add it to the route at no charge.

If you take several medications, ask us about syncing your refills so they all come due on the same day each month. It turns four or five separate phone calls into one.

Request a callback

Prefer we call you? Leave your name and number and we'll get back to you during pharmacy hours to start the transfer.

Please don't include medical details in this form. Send us your name and phone number only — we'll collect your prescription information securely over the phone.

We'll only use these details to contact you about your prescriptions. In a hurry? Call us directly at 215-244-4244.

Common questions about transferring

How long does a transfer take?

Usually the same day. Once we have your details we contact your current pharmacy directly and request the transfer. Most are completed within a few hours during normal business hours.

Do I have to call my old pharmacy?

No. That is the part we handle. You do not need to explain yourself, give a reason, or have an awkward conversation — we make the request pharmacy to pharmacy.

Will I lose my remaining refills?

In most cases your remaining refills transfer with the prescription. Some medications, including certain controlled substances, cannot be transferred and need a new prescription from your prescriber. We will tell you if that applies and can contact your doctor for you.

Can I transfer just some of my prescriptions?

Yes. Some people move everything at once, others start with one or two. Either is fine — tell us which ones you want and we will only move those.

Will you take my insurance?

We work with most major prescription plans. Give us a call with your card in hand and we will confirm your specific coverage before you transfer anything.

Is there a fee to transfer?

No. There is no charge for transferring a prescription to us.

How do I request a refill once I've transferred?

Call us at 215-244-4244 during pharmacy hours. If you would like it delivered, say so when you call and we will add it to the delivery route at no charge.

Rather just call?

It's the fastest way. Have your current pharmacy's name handy and we'll take care of the rest on the call.
